I finally decided to create a Patreon page (which is more complicated than Tipeee, so that’s why I was a bit reluctant at first!).
The 1$ tier gives you access to at least one painting/illustration/comic as a high resolution png file per month (at the moment there’s only two of them, but I’m open to any number of requests for high resolution files of things I’ve already made!), the 3$ tier also gives you access to work-in-progress commented posts with photos (two of them at the moment), and the 8$ tier also gives you a drawing (png file) of a tiny monster thanking you personally.I also still have a Tipeee page, which has a monthly lottery (something you can't do on Patreon).

It's been a while since the last time anyone tagged me with a meme...
The questions sent me:
1. If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
Some kind of small bird I guess, because I have some sort of fixation on birds and bird-like things, and small because I'm a bit awkward. Although I recently took some sort of "what is your spirit animal?" kind of test which told me my spirit animal was a porcupine, so that could also work I guess?
2. What is your dream career?
To be an actual painter, but I have no idea how I would cope with that because I feel like some of my paintings are my kids or something. Recently at the small art exhibition someone wanted to buy one of them (Bipolar) and I litterally wanted to cry, so I said I wouldn't sell it.
3. What annoys you more? People saying they like your work but not saying why, or people faving your work and not commenting at all?
None of these things are annoying, I'm glad when people comment or fave at all! There's still ONE type of people that drives me mad, though: the kind of person who faves like 200 things like a bot without leaving a single comment. Don't think it's an exageration, recently two distinct persons faved the whole Alone adventure game and the whole Book of Monsters, respectively. I don't mind them faving, I just hate to have to delete all the 200+ notifications each time
4. Morning person or night person?
It depends, I'm a lot more efficient at work in the morning, but I prefer to paint at night.
5. Quick! The doctor has just arrived in his Tardis and is offering you the opportunity to visit any time, place, and universe of your choice! Where will you go and what will you do when you get there?
Riiiiight. So... I would be the kind of one-time companion who dies horribly at the end of the episode, right?
Any planet with extraterrestrial inhabitants, in any time period, would be great. I'd be happy to know for sure that we're not alone in the universe before dying.
6. If you had to eat nothing but fast food for a year, what restaurant would you go to?
Don't do this to me please I hate fastfood ;_; Something with pasta? Or rice?
7. Name three random skills you would like to master.
Painting. Remembering my dreams perfectly and vividly every time. Basic social skills.
8. What is one fictional item that you would like to have for your very own?
This one is especially difficult. I'd say the DC-Mini from Paprika. It can actually keep a record of your dreams and allows you to see the dreams of other people connected to it. How awesome is that?
9. Fun fact about yourself?
I already said in another meme like this one that I have a supernumerary tooth in the palate, so what about this: dance music from the 90s (like Cappella, 2Unlimited or Ice MC) makes me feel both terribly nostalgic and anxious at the same time. I know these songs sound ridiculous and square by current standards, especially the rap bridges, but whenever I hear them, I still absurdly perceive them like something dark and epic, like when I was 5-7 years old. The worst offender is Cappella.
10. Do you have any tips for your fellow artists?
Try to always carry a notebook and a pencil around and use them whenever you're bored. If you want to draw something but have no idea, close your eyes and draw a few random lines and curves on a page and try to base a drawing on them. If you still have no idea, listen to some music.

First (really small) art exhibition

I'm currently exhibiting a few of my paintings at a place close to my workplace until Friday. It's a free art exhibition, with a lot of different things (like origami, mosaic, etc), but I'm still really happy.
It was really great to answer to people who were asking about the meaning of the paintings. However, by far, my favorite comment was the meanest one. A woman asked me what a tesseract was (because of the title Song of the tesseracts), and she interrupted me mid-sentence to add: "...you're totally nuts, aren't you?" ("...vous êtes complètement toctoc, non ?")
Also, VNV Nation was in concert last week at Le Divan du Monde, just like two years ago. It was even better than last time; no joke. Also, this time, I filmed it, or at least parts of it: youtu.be/2wrkudPvrng Just like last time, Perpetual was a fitting title because it just wouldn't end (check the last six minutes of the video -yeah, six minutes to end a song). Also, Transnational may not be their best album, but If I was, one of the new songs, is amazing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Tsniq…
So yeah, that was a damn good evening.
