Today's letter is V! For Voldemort!Aka Tom Riddle.
I used to love this character ; his personal story is very similar to Harry's one but he took a completely different direction and that's why he's interesting, imho.
But after he proved his complete idiocy in book 7, I just don't really care about him anymore.

When I say "complete idiocy", I mean this situation:
- It's over, Tom, I am the true master of the Elder Wand!
- Na, 'don't care, let's see if I can kill you with it.
- You can't. It will backfire.
- AVADA KEDAVR-
-
-

- 'told you.

Anyway, I think you summed up perfectly what I don't like about Book 7. It wraps all the loose threads of the previous 6 books waaay too quickly. I have this picture in my head of JK Rowling sitting down, looking at her rough drafts and saying "Oh crap! I'm up to Chapter 28 of Book 7! I've got to start wrapping things up!"
If Voldemort didn't have his sudden attack of idiocy, I'm sure the plot would've gone on for another three books.
I mean, in some ways it was a fitting way to get him killed, because it looks just like what happened at the beginning of book one. What I find stupid is that, this time, he was warned and he perfectly knew what could happen to him
And thank you for the feature!
"Epic fail" should have been the title of the chapter.
